Sunglasses

Sunglasses protect our eyes against the sun's glare. The sun's glare can cause your eyes to receive ten times as much light as they receive under ordinary conditions. The glare that hits your eyes can be significantly reduced by wearing sunglasses fitted with polarizing lenses. Polarizing lenses contain a tinted plastic filter with tiny crystals that have been stretched into series of lines. This effectively blocks out the horizontal rays of light, while permitting enough vertical rays to get through for you to be able to see.
