Apple’s “iWatch” Wrist-Device Coming to Stores in Late 2014
According
to analysts, the wearable digital device by Apple termed the “iWatch”
will be very useful indeed. But it is not expected to enter the
electronics market soon. More than a year remains before the
full-fledged version comes out. Till then consumers are waiting with
bated breath for the high-tech heavenly contraption to arrive on
the scene. Currently Apple lacks the necessary components for creating
an iWatch. Therefore manufacturing of this object of desire will be
delayed till the year 2014.
Moreover, Apple is probably going to opt for a wrist-device instead of glasses as reported in 9to5Mac. At least, it will consider the iWatch before it comes out with the glasses. Google Glass has already set the world on fire with its wearable technology in the form of a pair of spectacles with a whole computer fitted right in the viewing space. Apple too wants to do something for the first time. Its purchase of certain parts has been seen as a move towards making an iWatch some time in the near future.
Among some of the special features of the wrist watch are the phone call-receiving capability and message service. Social network reminders and missives too count in the set of resources. Finally there are several modules that have to do with health-related statistics. Vital signs may be monitored via this device. The usage of iPod’s Touch-based Nanotechnology will get center stage in the iWatch. A 1.5 inch OLED display screen is to feature in the making of the wrist-wrap.
